Green Berets are bad ass that’s a fact… there’s a reason they’re the zenith of the armed forces and it has more to do with their character than their fighting prowess. When Eric Brashears retired from special forces he wanted to bring the discipline, organization, and camaraderie he gained through his military service to youth that might not otherwise get exposed to it. But he also wanted kids to have the simple joy and fun of camping in the woods. He made Camp Liberty to create a venue where he could give life skills and experiences to the Gold Star youth.
